Author's Notes

A personal note from the creator of Hypanel about the project's origins, philosophy, and future.

About Hypanel

Hypanel started as a personal hobby project—something I built for myself to make managing my Hytale servers easier. After using it for a while, I realized it might be useful for others in the community, so I decided to share it.

Free and Open Source

Hypanel is 100% free to use. There are no hidden costs, no premium features, and no paywalls. Everything is available to everyone.

The project is open source and released under the MIT License. This means you're free to:

  • Use Hypanel for any purpose
  • Modify it to suit your needs
  • Share it with others
  • Contribute improvements back to the project

You can find the source code on GitHub and contribute, report issues, or fork it for your own use.

Updates and Development

As a hobby project, development happens in my spare time. While I'll do my best to release updates regularly and address issues promptly, updates may not always be as fast as they could be if this were a full-time commercial project.

I'm committed to:

  • Fixing bugs as I discover them or they're reported
  • Adding new features when time permits
  • Responding to community feedback
  • Maintaining the project for the long term

Your patience and understanding are appreciated, and I'm grateful for any contributions or feedback from the community.

  • Share your experience with others
